Crossing the Hummingbird Bridge

In February 2010, Picaflor Productions set out on a journey to Peru to capture the manifestation of an ancient legend.

The legend says that when the Spanish arrived to the South American continent, the Incas hid away their most sacred object, the Solar Disc, into the bottom of Lake Titicaca.

It was during the reactivation of the solar disc on Amantani Island on this sacred lake that the hummingbird appeared to us in full splendor.

The hummingbird is a messenger, a messenger of love.

The hummingbird told us to be messengers and the bridge makers between the linear, technological world of the North and the cyclical, natural world of the South.

We are here to help bind the mind and the heart, the physical and spiritual, so that the eagle and the condor may fly together once again.

Follow us on our second voyage to the sacred land of the Incas as we climb up into the mountains and the mysteries unfold.
